Stands as a Himalaya sub-range, Ganesh Himal locates in the north-central part of Nepal. The Trekking route lies in between famous National Park and Conservation Area—Langtang and Manaslu.
Ganesh Himal name derives from the Hindu Deity Ganesha, elephant-headed God. It sounds like a holy mountain, but it is practically not so popular among religious devotees. When the weather goes friendly—haze and cloud-free, we can view the enticing view of Ganesh Himal even from Kathmandu.

Snow-caped high mountains, Himalayan foothill side by side the unique settlements of tribal groups reward our journey. Along the route, mostly, Tibetan-originated people dominate this location. Start your trek with a gradual ascent, passing through traditional Tamang villages and lush forests.
Arrive at Gatlang, a picturesque village known for its unique stone houses and vibrant culture.
Explore the village, interact with locals, and experience their traditional lifestyle.
Continue your trek, passing through dense forests and terraced fields.
Enjoy the stunning views of Ganesh Himal and other surrounding peaks as you ascend.
Reach Somdang, a small settlement with a history of mining activities.
Today’s trek takes you to the highest point of the journey, Pangsang Pass, offering panoramic views of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Manaslu ranges.
After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, descend to the traditional village of Tipling.
Explore the village and experience the local culture and hospitality.
Descend through lush forests and cross suspension bridges over roaring rivers.
Pass through quaint villages and terraced farmlands, witnessing the daily lives of the local people.
Arrive at Shertung, a picturesque village with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains.
Continue your trek, descending through forests and terraced fields.
Cross several small streams and rivers, enjoying the serene natural beauty.
Reach Jharlang, a traditional Tamang village with unique architecture and warm hospitality.
The trail descends steeply through forests and terraced fields.
Pass through charming villages and cross several suspension bridges over the Ankhu Khola river.
Arrive at Kintang Phedi, a small village located at the confluence of the Ankhu Khola and Trisuli rivers.
Continue your trek along the banks of the Ankhu Khola river.
Pass through terraced fields, forests, and small villages as you make your way to Dhading Besi.
From Dhading Besi, take a scenic drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the beautiful countryside views.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check-in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Enjoy a leisurely day in Kathmandu to rest, explore, and do some last minute shopping.
Optional activities include visiting additional cultural sites, shopping for souvenirs, or indulging in a spa treatment.
In the evening, join us for a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful completion of the Ganesh Himal Trek.
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last minute shopping or sightseeing.
