Manaslu Region is the most isolated destination for thrilling trekking and mountain adventures in the entire world. The Manaslu Circuit trek offers the best experience of venturing into the land so remote and cut off areas that you obtain similar episodes of getting romanticized with additional knowledge and insight of a different world beyond the existing one.

Manaslu circuit trekking route is very unique from other popular trekking destinations in Nepal.  Unlike other famous trails such as the Everest region and the Annapurna region, the Manaslu circuit trek is filled entirely with off the beaten tracks. The route takes you to some of the remotest villages, several beautiful waterfalls, crossing amazing rivers and enchanting landscapes of lush green land and the magical mountain ranges.  The routes are rough and require much effort both physically and mentally to overcome the stress and tiredness. As you progress you will cross the highest pass of Larke pass which is 5125m above sea level. Thus, compared to Annapurna and Everest, this trek is entirely strenuous in difficulty level due to lack of proper paved or constructed paths and guided routes. Similarly, the variation of the altitude can be very challenging to cope with for the people traveling here for the first time.

Likewise, the foreign travelers are not allowed to wander or trek alone – you are obliged to hire a guide or at least a porter authorized by the Nepal Trekking association. This has two different benefits – one is that you get to see the best of the region, always getting adequate and real information about most of everything which also helps in the preservation of the natural and environmental aspects and secondly, you will be contributing for the economic uplift of local guides and entrepreneurs.

Manaslu circuit trek is located in the preservation area of Manaslu region which has so far kept safe the wildlife and vegetation in their own natural state. You will be able to observe the natural beauty unaltered or very less influenced by modern touch. The local tribes have learned to co-exist with high respect and regards to nature and its components. The tea houses are basic and it is highly recommended that the travelers carry their camping equipment, in case.

This beautiful trek starts from Soti Khola at Budi Gandaki river valley. As you pass Arughat following the trails alongside the spectacular river of Budhi Gandaki, you reach the highest point in Larke pass at the elevation of 5125m which takes you to tougher descent towards the trail of popular Annapurna circuit trekking and finally to the endpoint of Besisahar.
