Mardi Himal Trek is, newly identified, less busy, in Annapurna Region. It is, however, getting a popular and demanding trekking route. Generally, the trail runs along the ridge. From the high ridge, it provides phenomenal views of high mountains and Himalayan foothill. Trekking in Mardi Himal, is a short and sweet option, easy, offers lodge and camping trek. Except for additional activities in Kathmandu or Pokhara, the Mardi Himal Trekking duration comes less than a week. It considers moderate, easy grading Trek.
The Mardi Himal Trek starts from Kande, the trekking point about an hour’s drive away from Pokhara. The trail passes through abundant, beautiful, settlement of Tribal people and their farmland. Whereas, in further days trek, the trail follows through the lush forest of Rhododendron, Juniper, Pine, etc.
The Trail, reward us with the magnificent mountain views. The range of Annapurna Mountain including Fish Tail (6947M) Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7855m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7819m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Himchuli (6441m), Dhaulagiri I (8163m), Dhaulagiri II (7751m), Nilgiri (6940m), Thapa Peak (6015m), Tukche Peak (6920m), Machhapuchhre (6991m), Mardi Himal (5588m), Singu Chuli (6500m), Tharpu Chuli (5663m), Gangapurna (7483m) are major attractions.
Furthermore, the sweeping vistas of Himalayan foothill and wide valleys bellow provide additional feed. The terraced farmland and quaint settlements, such as Ghandruk, Chhomrong, in the mountain thrill our trip.
The trail locates in the preserved Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP). In terms of flora and fauna, it is a paradise for wild animals: Mountain goats, white-spotted deer, Barking Deer, and many other species of deer habitat in this region. Various species birds, including Phesant, Nepal National Bird, and Impeyan Pheasant, Kalij Pheasant, etc.
Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will greet you and transfer you to a hotel.
After check-in and some refreshment, we will have a brief orientation session at GoTrekkingNepal’s office, covering essential trekking information and safety guidelines.
Having done official paper work and induction, trekker will have time to explore bustling city.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, where you will meet your trekking team and fellow trekkers.
Mardi Himal Trekking Group wake up at 6 am and finissh wash up at 6:30 heads to the tourist bus stop.
En route, witness stunning views of the countryside, terraced fields, and quaint villages.
After 6 to 7 hours scenic drive, we will arrive at Pokhara, the adventure capital of Nepal, situated alongside the beautiful Phewa Lake.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening exploring the lakeside area.
We will take a 45 minutes drive to Kande, the starting point of our trek.
The trek begins with a gentle climb through lush rhododendron forests, passing picturesque villages and terraced farmlands.
Arrive at Forest Camp, a serene spot nestled in the woods, where we will spend the night.
Continue our trek through dense forests adorned with mosses and ferns.
As we ascend, the landscape changes, offering glimpses of the Annapurna and Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountains.
Reach Low Camp, where the tree line begins to thin, providing stunning panoramic views.

The trail becomes steeper as we trek towards High Camp, but the breathtaking scenery keeps us motivated.
We will awe inspiring views of Mardi Himal, Machapuchare, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli along the way.
After five hours trekking, we will arrive at High Camp, our base for the night, with mesmerizing views of the surrounding peaks.
Overnight at High Camp
An early morning, we start to hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp.
The trail is challenging but rewarding , with incredible views of the sunrise over the Himalayas.
Spend time at the base camp, taking in the majestic mountain panorama before returning to High Camp for the night.
Begin our descent, retracing our steps through Low Camp and then branching off towards Siding Village.
The trail offers a different perspective, passing through traditional Gurung villages and terraced fields.

A leisurely trek from Siding Village to Lumle, passing through scenic landscapes and rural communities.
From Lulre, a short drive takes us back to Pokhara.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last minute shopping or sightseeing.
