Likewise, the foreign travelers are not allowed to wander or trek alone – you are obliged to hire a guide or at least a porter authorized by the Nepal Trekking association. This has two different benefits – one is that you get to see the best of the region, always getting adequate and real information about most of everything which also helps in the preservation of the natural and environmental aspects and secondly, you will be contributing for the economic uplift of local guides and entrepreneurs.

This beautiful trek starts from Soti Khola at Budi Gandaki river valley. As you pass Arughat following the trails alongside the spectacular river of Budhi Gandaki, you reach the highest point in Larke pass at the elevation of 5125m which takes you to tougher descent towards the trail of popular Annapurna circuit trekking and finally to the endpoint of Besisahar.

Crossing the first bridge and trek through dense forests, ascend to Labubesi and then descend to the river, we will reach Machha Khola. Enjoy the natural beauty along the way.

Today’s trek takes you past Tatopani. Ascend to a ridge, cross the Budi Gandaki River, and reach Dobhan. Continue on the uneven trail, followed by stone stairs, until you arrive at Jagat village.

Begin with an early ascent to Salleri, then descend to Sirdibas and Ghatta Khola. Pass through Philim village, traverse a steep gorge, and cross the Budhi Gandaki River. Trek alongside the river through a bamboo forest until you reach Deng village.

Cross the Budhi Gandaki River several times, walk through flat terrain, then ascend through dense forest to arrive at Namrung village.

After taking hearty breakfast, we will cross Larkya La Pass. Trails leads us towards north along Larkya Glacier. The trail passes through moraines, leading to a steep ascent towards Larkya La Pass. From the top, breathtaking views of Mt. Annapurna II, Mt. Kanguru, Himlung Himal, and Cheo Himal unfold. The journey then descends to Bimthang, where you’ll spend the night.”
