The Terms and Conditions set out by Go Trekking Nepal are designed to provide clarity and transparency for all clients engaging in our trekking services. These terms establish the legal and operational framework that governs the relationship between our company and our clients. They are in place to ensure that all participants understand their rights, responsibilities, and the policies that apply when booking a trek or adventure with us.

Trekking, especially in remote and challenging environments like the Himalayas, involves certain inherent risks. By clearly outlining our policies on booking, cancellations, insurance, and health requirements, we aim to protect both the company and our clients from unforeseen situations that could arise during the journey.

Our Terms and Conditions cover essential topics such as payment policies, insurance requirements, itinerary flexibility, and personal safety. These provisions are designed to:

Booking and Payment

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid before the trip commences.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. All payment details will be shared upon booking confirmation.
Bookings made within 30 days of the departure date require full payment at the time of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing (email) and are subject to the following charges:
More than 30 days before the trip: 30% of the total cost.
15-30 days before the trip: 50% of the total cost.
Less than 15 days before the trip: 100% of the total cost (no refund).
If Go Trekking Nepal cancels a trip for any reason, a full refund of the deposit will be provided, or an alternative trip will be offered.

Travel Insurance

All clients are required to have valid travel insurance covering emergency evacuation, medical expenses, trip cancellation, loss of personal belongings, and other unforeseen events.
Go Trekking Nepal is not responsible for any expenses not covered by your insurance.

Health and Fitness Requirements

All participants must ensure they are physically fit to undertake the chosen trekking activity. It is advisable to consult a physician before booking a trek.
Clients with pre-existing medical conditions must inform Go Trekking Nepal during the booking process. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the trip without refund.

Itinerary Changes

Go Trekking Nepal reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, or other factors beyond our control.
In such cases, alternative routes or plans will be provided, but any additional costs incurred due to changes will be the responsibility of the client.

Safety and Responsibility

The safety of all participants is our top priority. Clients must follow the guidance and instructions of their guide throughout the trek.
Go Trekking Nepal will not be held liable for any injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur during the trip unless caused by negligence on our part.

Force Majeure

Go Trekking Nepal shall not be responsible for any delay or cancellation of services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to political unrest, natural disasters, flight cancellations, or other unforeseen events.

Passport and Visa Requirements

All clients must carry a valid passport with at least six months of validity and obtain necessary visas for Nepal before the trip.
Go Trekking Nepal can provide information on visa requirements but is not responsible for any issues related to visa processing.

Personal Liability

Clients are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment during the trek. Go Trekking Nepal is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage.
Clients are responsible for adhering to local laws and customs during the trek.

Complaints and Disputes

Any complaints during the trek should be made to the trek leader or guide immediately, so we can address the issue promptly.
In the event of unresolved disputes, the matter will be subject to Nepalese law.

Go Trekking Nepal respects the privacy of our clients. Personal information collected during booking will only be used for trip-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
