Panchase Trekking is ideal for those who do not have several days to trek. Or afraid of high altitudes. Besides tour and travel, the real trekking days remain just three days. The journey, however, provides excellent experiences of mountain views.
After finishing the cultural tour at UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu, we drive to Pokhara. Pokhara, the second largest city of Nepal, unlike Kathmandu, is a naturally blessed city. The Panchase Trekking starts across from the Phewa Lake. The trail goes through Peace Pagoda Stupa that locates on the ridge.
We traverse viewpoints, forests, ridges, local settlements, and farmlands. Along with the trail, the scenic views of Annapurna, Dhawalagiri, and Manaslu mountain range spot in the north. Side by side, Himalayan foothills, beautiful Pokhara Town, and wide valley’s appearance reward us.
Furthermore, we cross many quaint villages, farmland, and community forest. We have the opportunity to observe the culture, practice, and livelihood of locals closely. Also, we will meet local kids who may lovingly yell at us “ Namaste” Hello! We can exchange for hello! Or Namaste! in return. It is common in Nepal to speak with strangers without any cause.
Regarding the highest altitude, we reach up to 2500 m, the ultimate destination of the tour, Panchase.
