Jomsom Muktinath Trek

 

Jomsom Muktinath Trek, one of easiest trekking in Annapurna Region, comprises in the north part of Land Lock country Nepal. The topographical formation of this region shared with Tibetan plateau, so it reminds us a piece of Tibet in Nepal. Furthermore, it is known as a district behind mountain after Manang. The scheduled Trek and Tour begins from Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, after a Day heritage sites exploration and prior Trek and Tour preparation. We take 35 minutes flight to Pokhara, the second largest city of Nepal, the most famous city for travelers, beautifully assembled by nature. After landing Pokhara, we will drive towards our Jomsom Muktinath Trekking staring point, Nayapul for one hour and, we trek to Tikhedhunga. Please, have a look our Itinerary detail for other stopping point for overnight. Initially, the trek begins from southern part, a buffer zone of Annapurna Conservation Area Project ACAP, and gradually we enter into the ACAP areas. During this trek, we will have full opportunities to experience nature and culture side by side. After completing mountain trek, we will fly to Pokhara from the mountainous airport Jomsom then drive back to Pokhara.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Day 02: Kathmandu: sightseeing and trek preparation
Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara (823m) and trek to Tikhendhunga (1,552m): 35 minutes flight, 4-5 hours trek
Day 04: Trek from Tikhedhunda to Ghorepani (2,750m): 6-7 hours
Day 05: Trek from Ghorepani to Tatopani (1,190m): 5-6 hours
Day 06: Trek from Tatopani to Ghasa (2,110m): 5-6 hours
Day 07: Trek from Ghasa to Marpha (2,680m): 4-5hours
Day 08: Trek from Marpha to Kagbeni (2,810): 4-5 hours
Day 09: Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (3,710m): 5-6 hours
Day 10: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,715m): 5-6 hours
Day 11: Fly back to Pokhara: 15 minutes flight
Day 12: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Day 13: Final departure
