Everest Panorama Trek

 

The Everest Panorama Trek is an option for short and Sweat Trekking goers. This is a complete package, to view closely world highest mountain peaks within such a short day’s trip. Most precisely, it is ideal for those who do not have ample time to afford days long trekking like Everest Base Camp Trekking and Gokyo Trekking. However, Everest Panorama Trek gives us full opportunity to get acquainted with world highest mountains, settlement and their culture and practices. Similarly, we will have tremendous opportunities to get close with exhilarating landscape, nature and mountainous livelihood.

 

The Everest Panorama Trekking starts from Lukla, after landing here from 40 minutes of airstrip from Kathmandu. As we start treading over mountainous, the nature around our trail will continuously thrill us until finishing our mountain hiking. Once we get at the view point over Namche Bazaar, the alluring mountain peaks of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Amadablam will provide ample feed in order to make our journey worthwhile. No doubt, our journey will consider a visit to piece of land, which has not been dominated by human so far. The nature lovers, mountainous people, Sherpas, preserve this land as a mother earth.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01 – Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400 m).
Day 02 – Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m)
Day 03 – Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) – 5.5 hrs.
Day 04 – Namche Bazaar Acclimatization Day..
Day 05 – Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860 m) – 5 hrs.
Day 06 – Trek form Tengboche  to Khumjung (3,780 m) – 4 hrs.
Day 07 – Trek form Khumjung to Monjo (2,837 m) – 6 hrs.
Day 08 – Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2,804 m) – 6 hrs.
Day 09 – Morning Flight back to Kathmandu.
Day 10 – Transfer to the International Airport as per flight schedule.

Day 01 – Arrive in Kathmandu (1,300 m).


Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, our staff member will come to get you at the airport with holding a placard that will state an official sign of Go Trek Nepal. After welcoming you at the airport, we will be transferred to the require hotel. Before going to explore, touristy hub, Thamel, we will have time get freshen and send message to friends and family back home about safe arrival in Nepal. In Evening, Go Trek Nepal organize a welcome dinner at a native Nepalese restaurant. We will get opportunities to ice-break with Trek leader and GTN team. We can also use this opportunity to raise any questions regarding trek and journey to Everest.

Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,804 m) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 m)


We take early flight to Lukla, likely at 6 to 7 am, takes about 35 minutes airstrip. During flight, we will get opportunity to view beautiful landscape, village, valleys, rivers, forest and mountains that impress us with topographical formation of mountainous country Nepal. Upon arrival at Lukla, we will meet with other fellow crews, who assist us to carry our loads until finish our trek. After having breakfast, we will start treading on the Everest Land through downhill trail. Along the trail we will cross some pine forest, villages and farmland, and we cross Dhudkoshi River suspension bridge then arrive at Phakding where we stop for overnight stay.

 

Day 03: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m) 5 to 6 hours

The trail leads us by crossing Dhudkoshi suspension bridge through a pine forest towards Benkar valley alongside the river bank. During this trail, we will cross several villages and tea houses like Monjo, Jorsalle etc. Before arriving at Namche, we will get in check at the Sagarmath National Park entry point. By having enjoyable trek we will arrive at the much fascinating Sherpa settlement in mountain, the Namche Bazaar, known as the gate way of Everest Region Trekking. We will be staying at a Teahouse lodge in Namche bazaar.

 

Day 04: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m)

Today, it is acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar. We will go to see sunrise early in morning and explore famous viewpoints from where breathtaking mountains such as Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and more can be viewed. Depending in our time availability and interest, we can make a hike to other beautiful Sherpa settlements and explore nature. After getting back to Lukla from mountain hiking, we can use additional time to explore Namche Bazaar, sending post cards to friends and family back home, checking mails, visiting schools and museum etc.

 

Day 05: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m): 10km, 5 – 6 hours

Having acclimatization and good time in Namche Bazaar, we head towards to Tengboche, today’s overnight camp. The trail follows semi descendent until Dhudkoshi River. Number of spectacular mountains, Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, are waiting for us to present their beauty. After couple of hour’s uphill trail through pine forest, we will arrive in Tengboche where we will stop for night stay. Upon arrival in Tengboche, we have ample to time to stroll around to see world famous Monastery which has been featured in numerous books, magazines and documentary etc. As mountain explorer, we will not miss astonishing views of Everest, Ama Dablam, other peaks and beautiful landscape surrounding location.

 

 

Day 6: Trek from Tengboche to Khumjung, 3780m, 3-4 hours

This day after breakfast, we return back the same way back to Phungi Tenga. First a sharp descent to Dudh Koshi River and then climbing up to Phungi Tenga village which takes about 3 hours. Afterwards the trails continues stone steps until reaching Khumjung Village which is one of the spectacular village in Khumbu region where inhabitant of Sherpa peoples. It takes about 30 minutes. We visit the monastery and we can see the Skull of the Yeti inside the Monastery. This is the biggest Sherpa village in the Khumbu region. We continue our hike to Khunde village. Then we visit the old monastery and return back to Lodge. Overnight in Lodge.

 

Day 7: Trek from Khumjung to Monjo, 2835m, 4-5 hours

As usual, our day begins with morning breakfast, and we move forward to scheduled destination point. In the morning, we ascend through stone staircase up to stupa, where devote people offer silk scarves for good luck. The trail leads us downwards through Syanboche to Namche Bazaar which we crossed other day; however, we will have chance to catch more snaps of magnificent views in case we missed couple of days back. After crossing Namche bazaar, the descending trail goes through lush forest comprise with Pine, Rhododendron, juniper trees and bushes. We cross first suspension bridge and follow the trail alongside the river bank then arrive at Monjo, where we stop for overnight stay.

Day 08: Trek from Monjo to Lukla

 

Day 09: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

 

Day 10: Airport Transfer as per flight Schedule
